We have had a lot of emails, phone calls, and conversations where past attendee's talked about how much they enjoyed this event and looked forward to next year. Our goal is to continue to improve the ride and to ensure that it remains the best ride of the summer. We can't do this without great sponsors, volunteers, and all of you getting the word out to others. If you would like to be a sponsor this year or a volunteer, please contact us. Thank you for everyone that supports Dan's Ride, HOOAH (Helping Out Our American Heroes) and our veterans.

I'm excited to announce that we raised over $7,500 on our first annual Dan's Ride! Thank you to everyone that contributed and participated in the event. It was an honor for us to be able to present Mikes Guardian Eagle Foundation the check to help them continue to support veterans causes.

It's only January but time to start planning for next years event. We hope to get more sponsors and more volunteers to assist us in planning an even more successful event this year. If anyone is interested in contributing either their time or money for this event, please contact us at staff@dansride.org.

Yesterday was a great ride. A little bit hot. When the rain started at Bostons, yeah, that's nice. The services were very nice. Thanks to Boston's and all the raffle donaters.

Hello,
I was in Cape Coral, Florida over Memorial Weekend, visiting my mother in her Care Facility. The ladies there had made memorial name tags for each resident and visitor to wear for the weekend. I wore Army Pfc. Daniel G. Dolan, 19, Roy UT for the weekend, a beautiful nametag pinned to my chest in honor of his service and recognition for a life sacrificed for me and our country, although I did not know him.

I am from Moab, UT, and when I returned home I found this website and am happy to have an opportunity to comment and give my heart felt appreciation to the family of Daniel for his bravery and service.

Sincerely,
Martha Lamb

Can't wait to do this worthy "ride". I didn't know Dan personnally but knew who he was. I watched him play hockey against my son who played for Layton and the AA Junior Wildcats, and also while I managed the Weber State Div 1 program when coach Joe Pfleegor and I would go watch high school and travel team players for recruitment possibilities. One thing about it Dan was a very good hockey player! As an old retired E-8 these tributes touch my heart -- thanx to all the planners. And Tim and Fay -- God bless you both for your spirt.

After standing the Flagline on many occasions for other Heros, Dan has and always will be there in spirit encouraging us to Never Forget! Dan, there I no way I can ever Thank You for your sacrifice. We never got to meet Dan but we will never forget him. That may sound odd but we will never forget any of the heroes or families that sacrificed so much for our nations freedom and security. In the years that passed after we rode and stood for Dan at his funeral services, we have had the great pleasure of getting to know the Dolan family. Their strength, resolve, and dedication to all that have served and are serving is inspiring to say the least.

This ride is dedicated to Danny. But it is in memory and support to all that have served and fought for this country. I can't think of anything more worthwhile to ride for. I know that Dan will be with us. Because of this, we will be honored to ride and proud to be a part of this event.

Tim, Fay, Michelle,
We love you all. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of this tribute to Dan and the troops.

K'huna & Kelly (Pinball)
